Good morning, Almighty God,
My Rock and my Redeemer.
As the dawn breaks and a new day begins, I come before You—not in my own strength, but in humble dependence on Yours. You are the source of all true power and the fountain of perfect peace.
Lord, grant me Your strength for this day. Fortify my spirit with the might of Your Holy Spirit. “Strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness” (Colossians 1:11). Like a muscle is forged through resistance, shape my inner man through the challenges I may face today. Help me to be strong in You and in the power of Your might (Ephesians 6:10). Let my strength be used to serve, to persevere, to stand firm in faith, and to lift up others who are weary.
Father, pour out Your peace upon my heart. In a world of noise, pressure, and demands, let Your peace, which transcends all understanding, stand guard over my mind and heart in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Calm every anxious thought. Silence every inner storm. Help me to fix my mind on You, for You will keep me in perfect peace when my mind is stayed on You, because I trust in You (Isaiah 26:3).
As I go into this day, may Your strength be my confidence and Your peace be my atmosphere. Whether in quiet moments or demanding tasks, let me operate from a heart at rest in You, empowered by Your Spirit.
