Father of all comfort, I ask for the gift of hope.
Anchor my soul in the assurance of Your faithfulness, which has never failed. When circumstances whisper of despair, let Your Spirit testify to a greater truth. Renew my mind with the certainty that You are working all things together for good (Romans 8:28). Fill me with all joy and peace as I trust in You, so that I may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit (Romans 15:13). Let this hope be the helmet that guards my thoughts and the anchor that holds me fast, unshaken by the storms of life.
Mighty Lord, I ask for the armor of courage.
You have not given me a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). I claim that truth now. Clothe me with strength for today. Fortify my heart to face what lies ahead, not with a courage born of pride, but with a courage rooted in Your perfect love—a love that casts out all fear (1 John 4:18). Make me strong and courageous, for You, Lord my God, are with me wherever I go (Joshua 1:9).
Help me to fix my eyes not on the towering waves, but on You, the Author and Perfecter of my faith. Bring to my remembrance Your past faithfulness—how You have carried me, provided for me, and made a way where there seemed to be none.
